Lina Uebbing studied economics (B.Sc.) at the University of Wuppertal.
During her bachelor's degree, she gained initial practical experience in product management at the Marriott Hotel, San Diego, at Telekom, Bonn, and at Orthomol, Langenfeld. After her internship at Nike, Frankfurt, Lina Uebbing completed her Master of Science degree with a focus on management and marketing at the University of Wuppertal. She spent one semester at Tampere University of Technology in Finland.
Lina Uebbing then worked for Bürgschaftsbank NRW for three and a half years on the management staff as a marketing manager. In addition, since 2019 she has been involved with the social entrepreneurship project WEPads, which aims to combat period poverty in South Africa.
Since October 2022, she is a PhD scholar of the Manchot Graduate School "Competitiveness of Young Enterprises" at the Faculty of Economics of Heinrich-Heine-University Düsseldorf.
